Give the guy a break...Hatem ben arfa needs support....
okay we know the sort of respect you need for your manager and all the sideline staff, but after being treated like your not really part of a team...how would you feel?
hatem ben arfa has had enough patience to stay on the bench...or even come on substitute thats if his lucky..but i dont think anyone should blame him for letting off some steam....even if its the manager....thats where the manager should come in and support him...something must be bothering him for pulling a stunt like this...after all he didnt mean it because he has apologised.....

so i think marseille manger should give him a break...his not a alien or some kind of magician that he will make a miracle in one match..every player needs their space and time...if you review his first year in marseille he has shown some spectacular talent that includes his only goal against fc shaktar..his tremendous goal against fc twente and his excellent play against st etiente (3-1) where marseille won.So yeay he is going through a bad patch lets support him thats what he needs... Good luck Hatem to wherever the future leads you....

Altercation Ben Arfa / Deschamps?
on 17/11/2009 at 21:51

Our European colleagues 1 report the following information: it seems that a violent quarrel broke out between the Olympian coach Didier Deschamps and Hatem Ben Arfa on Tuesday for training. The radio said that the player would have even answered the Marseille coach: "You're breaking my c. ..".

Do you blame the player....he wants to play on the pitch and DD here does not give me the opportunity to play....6 miniutes substitue is not what every player dreams of...i think the player has waited long enough to blow..

Already on Monday, Didier Deschamps had appeared irritated by the behavior of players in training, it does not seem to give their all during the race meeting relapses. "He's a very talented but talent is not enough" had said Marseille coach Monday Club Foot Marseille on France Bleu Provence. "I know he is capable of making a difference on individual actions, but the collective needs of many other things. He has too many ups and downs. It is anyway he who holds the key. It is a problem of concentration, determination. He has to understand what it takes to level up. "

Remember that the player has not played a single minute of play in a competitive match since last October 31 during the match OM-Toulouse.
even though you should not act like that to your manger/coach but sometimes the water goes way over the bridge...

Ben Arfa: "The penalty has a little help

Ben Arfa: "The penalty has a little help
Former home of Lyon, Hatem Ben Arfa was again left on the bench of the OM on Sunday for the clash at the summit. He was able to deliver his cold analysis of the meeting. The Marseille midfielder was not surprised at the tenacity of his former band, but has instead been more surprised by his attitude at the game

"I know very well the winning culture that is here. They have shown they have always, even if the penalty has helped a little. For some years this culture has been installed here so I knew he must not relax. I did not even when they went up 5-4. It has the feeling of being missed something. We are very disappointed because at 4-2 we had the match well in hand and there was not much time. It is a lesson. I was quite surprised to see us wait. He played the carrot. He expected to get the ball to be thrown into attack. Today they played the strategy or else they were a little afraid of us, I do not know. We felt a team that we respected very much. They played very low, but in the end they still managed to do the job, "acknowledged Hatem Ben Arfa.
